This is a very crude program I wrote (using the php fsockopen function) to check the status of proxies. It sends a request to a proxy server and if the server responds within a set number of seconds, the program will mark the proxy as valid.

The number of seconds you input into the program will determine how long the script will run. For example, if you set 10 proxies on 15 seconds, the script will run for approximately 150 seconds (10x15).

Specifications:
- Only checks first 50 proxies to prevent overloading the server
- CANNOT check CoDeeN Network proxies
- Eliminates bad proxies (good proxies may still not work)
